Who Is Gabriele Procida?
Gabriele Procida is a basketball small forward/shooting guard who plays for Alba Berlin of the German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), as well as the EuroLeague.
Procida was born on June 1, 2002, in Como, Italy, and began his basketball career with Pallacanestro Cantù youth club.

At age 17, Procida turned pro with Pallacanestro Cantù in a Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) game against Reyer Venezia, and became “the third-youngest player in league history to score at least 24 points in a game.”
In 2022, Procida got signed with Alba Berlin of the Basketball Bundesliga, the same year he was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers, as 36th overall pick in the 2nd round of the NBA draft.
On the international stage, Procida has played with the Italy national team since 2021, representing the country at various international tournaments including the FIBA European Championship and the EuroBasket 2022 qualification match.
