Veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji has refuted rumors circulating on social media that he is from Gabon. Orji expressed his frustration on his Instagram page, stating that this is not the first false claim made about him.

“I am a full-blooded Nigerian, from Enugu State, and I am proud of my Nigerian heritage. May God deal with those who started these lies,” he wrote.
Orji recalled a previous false claim that he had passed away, which was later proven to be untrue.

He then addressed the current rumor, stating, “Now, another lie has emerged, claiming that I am from Gabon and not a Nigerian. I hereby deny this lie and affirm that I am a full-blooded Nigerian.”
He emphasized that both his parents are Nigerians and that he hails from Enugu State, proudly identifying as a Nigerian and celebrating his Nigerian heritage.
Orji concluded by expressing his trust in God to deal with those who originated the falsehood.
