The murder of a soldier at Kasoa, which has gained widespread attention on social media platforms, has prompted further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.

Reports indicate that the shooting occurred in Kasoa Millennium City, where the deceased soldier was fatally shot over a land dispute that was already under police scrutiny.
New details have emerged shedding light on the events leading up to the shooting and the individuals involved:
1. Two other soldiers who were present during the incident survived the attack, although their current whereabouts are unknown.
2. The assailant, identified as a sub-chief and alleged land guard, opened fire on the soldiers, resulting in the fatal shooting of the soldier in the driver’s seat.
3. A video circulating on social media captured the aftermath of the shooting, showing the deceased soldier slumped in his seat with the car in a ditch, and blood visible around his head.

4. The officers were reportedly en route to report the land dispute to the Millennium City Police at the Central East Command when they were attacked.

Additionally, Kofi Asmah, the owner of 21st Century Construction Company, who sold the disputed land, accused the police at Millennium City of failing to address the situation effectively, alleging corruption within their ranks.
