Full Moon July 2021: When To See The Next Full Moon?

The next full moon will occur on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 10:37 PM ET, and it is known as the Buck Moon, reflecting the time of the year when new antlers begin to grow on the heads of bucks.

The moon will appear full the night before and its peak to the casual stargazer. July’s full moon is sometimes known as Buck Moon, though it has many nicknames by different cultures.

Most of the time, the full moon isn’t perfectly full. We see the same side of the moon, but part of it is in shadow. Only when the moon, Earth and the Sun are perfectly aligned is the moon 100% full and the alignment produces a lunar eclipse.
