Frederik Andersen, the Danish ice hockey sensation, currently guards the net for the Carolina Hurricanes in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Andersen’s career began when he represented Denmark at the 2010 IIHF World Championship. He entered the NHL radar when the Carolina Hurricanes selected him in the seventh round, 187th overall, during the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.

Andersen’s journey spans various teams, including the Carolina Hurricanes, Herning Blue Fox, Frederikshavn White Hawks, Frölunda HC, Anaheim Ducks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
In 2022, he received the honor of an NHL All-Star Game selection.
However, in 2023, a health challenge emerged, with the Hurricanes announcing his indefinite absence due to a blood clotting issue.
