American actor cum director, Fred Savage, has been tired from the Wonder Years reboot over “inappropriate conduct.”

Fans and peers have slammed the actor-turned-director for “years of bad behavior” ahead of the decision.
“The allegations were investigated, leading to Savage’s dismissal,” they shared, with a Season 2 of the reboot not yet renewed following the investigation – Season 1 premiered in 2021.
The statement from parent company Disney read: “Recently, we were made aware of allegations of inappropriate conduct by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation was launched.
Upon its completion, the decision was made to terminate his employment as an executive producer and director of The Wonder Years.”
The allegations were said to involve: “verbal outbursts and inappropriate behavior” though the specifics of his firing or investigation are not confirmed.
They reached out for comment with no reply back.
Fred gained TV stardom as Kevin Arnold in the ‘60s and ‘70s-set show when it originally ran.
The Wonder Years ran for six seasons from 1988-1993.
The reboot, which he directed eight episodes of – depicts a Black middle-class family in Montgomery, Alabama during the 1960s.

Fred was the youngest Emmy-nominated actor for his original role in the first run of the sitcom.
When he more recently starred alongside Rob Lowe in the axed Fox series The Grinder, allegations against him were also made.
A crew member accused the actor of attacking and harassing her on the set in 2015.
Fred called the allegations “completely without merit and absolutely untrue,” and after, an investigation into those claims found no evidence of wrongdoing – it was settled out of court.
As Fred pivoted towards directing, alleged shadows of his past still followed.
In 2018 the mom on The Wonder Years, Alley Mills – said the original show was canceled, per Yahoo! because of a lawsuit against a then-teenaged Fred that she however called “ridiculous.”
Monique Long, in 1993, filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against then 16-year-old Fred, and then 20-year-old Jason Hervey.
She accused the actors of verbally and physically harassing her, claimed she wasn’t able to do her job and was fired.
An undisclosed out-of-court settlement was reached, but nearly three decades later mom Alley came forward to say the ’90s sitcom was canceled “because” of that.
Since Fred has directed many Nickelodeon and Disney Channel shows, like That’s So Raven, Unfabulous, Phil of the Future, Hannah Montana, and Wizards of Waverly Place.
The now-45-year-old also directed episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the cult comedy show Party Down, The Conners, Black-ish, the reboot of The Wonder Years, and more.
