Hall of Famer Frank Cignetti Sr, who carved out a unique coaching career, including 20 years turning his alma mater Indiana (Pa.) into a Division II power, has died. He was 84.

He was married to Marlene and they had four children; Frank Cignetti Jr., Curt Cignetti, Lisa Ann Cignetti and Theresa Cignetti.
There’s no information on Cignetti’s daughters; Lisa Ann and Theresa.
Frank Cignetti Jr.

Frank was born on October 4, 1965 and is an American football coach currently serving as the offensive coordinator at Pittsburgh Panthers.

Prior to Pitt, Frank was the offensive coordinator at Boston College and the quarterbacks coach for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL).
Frank has also been the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants in 2016 and 2017.
Prior to that, he served as the quarterbacks coach for the St. Louis Rams from 2012 to 2014 and offensive coordinator for the Rams in 2015.
Curt Cignetti

Curt was born on June 2, 1961 and he has been the head coach of the James Madison Dukes since 2019.
He previously served as the head coach for Elon University and was an assistant coach for the University of Alabama for four years.
