With Lans, Carboni began his professional career in his home in Argentina before relocating to Italy at the age of sixteen. He committed in January 2020 to Inter Milan.
In April 2022, he agreed to a new contract with Inter. Carboni was loaned out by Cagliari on July 11, 2022. He transferred to Monza in Serie A on January 24, 2023, for a loan period ending June 30, 2024, with a buyout option for Monza and a counter-option for Inter.
