On loan from Inter Milan, Franco Carboni is a professional footballer who plays left-back or left midfield for Serie A club Monza. Argentina-born Carboni competed for Argentina and Italy in youth international competitions.

Before relocating to Italy at the age of sixteen, Carboni began his professional career at Lan’s in his home in Argentina. In January 2020, he committed to Inter Milan.
In April 2022, he renewed his agreement with Inter. Carboni was lent by Cagliari starting on July 11th, 2022.
