Francis Ngannou has been released from the Ultimate Fighting Championship with immediate effect and the heavyweight title that he holds has been declared vacant by the president of the UFC.

Francis Ngannou was offered a multi-million contract by the UFC and that contract would have made him the highest-ever salaried heavyweight fighter in the Ultimate Fighting Championship since its inception.
According to the report, Francis Ngannou rejected this contract due to some other terms in the contract and he was released from UFC immediately after he rejected the contract.
Francis Ngannou’s contract talks started some two years ago but no agreement was reached between both parties.
