Florence Dunn, the daughter of Matt Dunn, died of Dravet Syndrome, on March 16, 2023. She was just aged two.

Dravet Syndrome is a rare but chronic form of epilepsy.
The NHS describes it as “a life-limiting and devastating genetic neurological condition”.
Who Is Matt Dunn?
Matt Dunn is a professional cricketer and a left-handed batsman, known for representing England in cricket championships.
Born on May 5, 1992, in Egham, Surrey, Dunn made his debut in 2009, and has bowled under England’s Under-19s.

He also played Test matches, and made his first-class debut for Surrey in 2010.
Afterwards, Dunn made three first-class appearances for Surrey against Cambridge MCCU, Derbyshire and Gloucestershire.
Dunn, who bowls the right-arm fast medium, took 9 wickets at an average of 26.77, with best figures of 5/56, in one of his games.
In 2011, Dunn made his List A debut against the touring Sri Lanka A team, and “took the wickets of Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Sajeewa Weerakoon for the cost of 32 runs from 6 overs.”
