Fiona Hill is a popular British-American foreign affairs specialist and academic who served at the U.S. National Security Council.

Fiona Hill was born in October 1965, in Bishop Auckland, the United Kingdom to parents, Alfred Hill and June Murray. Her father Alfred Hill is a coal miner while her mother is a midwife, June Murray.

Fiona Hill’s father passed away in 2012. He attended Bishop Barrington School and later studied history and Russian at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
