Colombian figurative artist and sculptor Fernando Angulo was born in Medelln and lived from 19 April 1932 to 15 September 2023. His distinctive style, sometimes known as “Boterismo,” displays people and figures in big, exaggerated volume, which, depending on the piece, can either symbolize political critique or amusement.
