Fenerbahce received a fine of 115,000 euros for their protests during the Turkish Super Cup on Sunday, resulting in Galatasaray being awarded a 3-0 victory.

As a pre-planned act of protest, Fenerbahce fielded their under-19 team and exited the field in the third minute of the match.
Before Thursday’s Europa League quarterfinal clash with Olympiakos, the club asked for the postponement of the Super Cup match, but their request was denied. Additionally, the Turkish federation rejected the Istanbul club’s appeal for a foreign referee to officiate the game.

In the match, Mauro Icardi scored in the first minute, giving Galatasaray the lead in Sanliurfa. Following this, the entire Fenerbahce team left the field, abruptly ending the game.
In response, the Turkish Football Federation penalized the team with a fine and formally declared Galatasaray the champions of the competition.
Fenerbahce has accused the Turkish Football Federation of unfair treatment after two players received one-match bans for confronting Trabzonspor fans who had entered the field during a league game on March 17.
