Federica Brignone Parents: Meet Maria Rosa Quario & Daniele Brignone

Federica Brignone is the daughter of Maria Rosa Quario. She had four World Cup victories and 15 podiums, all in slalom.

Rosa Quario competed in the Winter Olympics in 1980 and 1984 and finished fourth and seventh in the slalom, respectively. She also competed at the 1982 World Championships and placed fifth in slalom.

Like her mother, Federica competes in all alpine disciplines, with a focus on giant slalom and super-G. She won the World Cup overall title in 2020, becoming the first female Italian to achieve this feat.

Brigone won the silver medal in the Women’s giant slalom and the bronze medal in the Women’s combined at the 2020 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Through March 2022, Brigone has 20 World Cup victories and 49 podiums, with 26 in giant slalom, 13 in super-G, 4 in downhill and 6 in combined.
