English author and broadcaster Fearne Cotton was born on September 3, 1981. Beginning in the late 1990s, she worked as a presenter for GMTV, CITV, and CBBC on a variety of kid-oriented television programs. She hosted the Top of the Pops music program on BBC One from 2002 until 2021. ITV2’s The Xtra Factor, a spin-off of the main program, was hosted by Cotton in 2007.
