Fans Of Erica Warn Blogger To Stop Tagging Nengi ‘Star Girl’ Or Risk Being Sued In Court

Popular Nigerian blogging site, Sabi Radio, has received a stern warning from fans of Erica to stop tagging Nengi as ‘Star Girl’ or risk being sued.

According to them, the name ‘star girl’ has been trademarked for Erica only hence, any organisation who uses it for commercial purposes is prone to a lawsuit.

The fan who remained anonymous also advised managers of the blogging account to be vigilant and be cautious when using the nickname. He added that anyone can be sued thus, the bloggers should not play with their livelihood.

The message read;

Hi, just so you know you can get sued for tagging that post star girl Nengi…As a trademarked name, any organisation who uses it for commercial purposes is open to a lawsuit. As a blog, you post news for commercial purposes. Just a warning… Anyone can be sued, don’t gamble with your livelihood.
