Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Are Down

It’s not your internet connection, stop reloading the pages, Facebook’s network is down in a major outage.

Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram platforms owned by Facebook Inc. are currently down. Facebook says it’s aware of the problem but did not mention how long it’s going to last.

Visitors to the website see an error message. Mozilla Firefox browser displays “Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.” Google Chrome users saw “This site can’t be reached”.

The desktop versions and apps are not working either. WordPress Jetpack and other external websites and apps that publish directly on the Facebook networks have been disconnected.

The cause of the outage is not yet known.
