Slot will join the Reds with a compensation deal of £9.4 million agreed in principle with his Eredivisie club Feyenoord.
The 45-year-old Dutchman is reportedly pleased with the opportunity to follow in Jurgen Klopp’s footsteps at Anfield.
According to SunSport, talks have apparently concluded for £7.7 million plus £1.7 million in additional payments, resulting in a total deal value of potentially £9.4 million.

Liverpool are reportedly also eyeing Feyenoord’s assistant Sipke Hulshoff, head of performance Ruben Peeters, and analyst Etienne Reijnen.
It’s worth remembering that Klopp announced his departure from Liverpool in January after nine years with the club, paving the way for the upcoming young manager.
