Eve McCoy, Archie McCoy: Meet AP McCoy’s Children

AP McCoy and his wife Chanelle have two kids- Eve McCoy and Archie McCoy.

Their first daughter, Eve, is 10-year-old, while their son Archie, is four years old.

McCoy’s wife once confessed she hopes her kids don’t follow in her husband’s jockey racing footsteps.

She said: “I would be really worried if my son Archie wanted to be a jump jockey.

Little Archie and his sister Eve joined their mum Chanelle on ITV Racing’s Social Hub on the second day of the Cheltenham Festival.

Archie impressed the crowds at Cheltenham with his horse knowledge as he joined presenters Oli Bell and Chris Hughes in front of the crowds next to the parade ring.

He was there to watch Champ, the Nicky Henderson, JP McManus trained horse named after his record breaking dad Sir AP McCoy who won more than 4000 jump races in his career.

And appropriately enough, on a day when fashion was the focus for Ladies Day, young Archie showed his own style with a pair of Gucci school shoes.

He said he fancies racing when he is older, just not horseracing, he’d rather be a dirt bike rider.

After Champ romped home in the RSA Chase Archie popped back onto the sceens with his dad, who joked that it was worth missing school for with the lad agreeing it was one of the most exciting races he’s ever seen.
