Eva Kaili Parents: Meet Maria Ignatiadou & Alexandros Kailis

Eva Kaili is the daughter of Maria Ignatiadou and Alexandros Kailis. There isn’t much information about her parents on the internet.

During Kaili’s arrest on the 9th of December, a suitcase of cash was found with her father upon his arrest, and bags of money were found at her home.

On the same day, she was suspended from both the Socialist and Democratic Groups with which she sits in the European Parliament and her national party PASOK.

As part of the investigation, Belgian Police raided 16 homes and detained at least four others including former MEP Antonio Panzeri, Kaili’s partner and Parliamentary assistant to MEP Marie Arena, Francesco Giorgi.

During the raids, over £600,000 in cash was recovered by investigators.
