Etienne Vaessen is a Dutch professional football goalkeeper who currently plays for RKC Waalwijk in the Eredivisie.

Etienne Vaessen was stabbed while chasing a shoplifter while working as a guard for MediaMarkt and playing amateur football in 2014, leaving him hospitalized for days.
