‘Essence’ By Wizkid And Tems Records Over A Million Units Sales In US

Summer song of the year, ‘Essence’ by Wizkid and Tems, has now recorded over one million unit sales in the US.

‘Essence’ has become one of the first songs to acquire such a milestone. The song has broken so many records and becomes by far one of the best African songs to break boundaries.

As part of the records, it once peaked at the No. 1 spot on US Urban Radio charts, entered Billboard Top 100 songs chart, entered top ten songs on Apple Music US Chart, and more.

According to most people, ‘Essence’ helped Tems break into the global limelight. Tems got collaboration from Drake on his recently released album, ‘Certified Lover Boy’ on the song, ‘Fountain.’ She also peaked on the No. 1 Spot on Billboard Next Big Sound Chart.

‘Essence’ remix features Canadian Singer, Justin Bieber. The beat also featured a freestyle from American rapper, DaBaby. It is the most successful song by an African artiste in 2021.
