On October 17, Eric Lindros was honoured with induction into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame.

In 2016, Eric Lindros was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and in 2017 he was named one of the “100 Greatest NHL Players” in history.

Eric Lindros is Canada’s all-time leader in points at the World Junior Championships with 31 points. In addition to his success at the World Juniors, Lindros also represented Canada’s senior team at the World Hockey Championships, leading the team in scoring at the 1993 tournament.

Eric Lindros also received the Red Tilson Trophy as the OHL’s Most Outstanding Player and the CHL Player of the Year award in 1991.

Eric Lindros started his National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Flyers during the 1992-93 season.

In August 2001, Eric Lindros was traded to the New York Rangers and later signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs for the 2005-06 season. He finished his career with the Dallas Stars in 2006-07.
