Eric Knowles Wife: Meet Anita Knowles

Anita Knowles is the wife of Eric Knowles.

Born in May 1957, Anita is a director and entrepreneur. She had two sons with Eric named Sebastian and Oliver.

Anita is known for the films Intimate Colors Director (1998), Anniversary Retreat Sound Department (2000), and Making Love.

Who Is Eric Knowles?

Eric Knowles is a British antiques expert, and TV personality, well known for hosting the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow.

Eric began as a porter in 1976, when he worked in the ceramics department of the London auction house. He rose to become a departmental head in 1981.

As of 1992, he had established  offices in Bristol.

In 2013 he began working with Dreweatts and Bloomsbury, and then later moved to The Hoard  as executive chairman.

On the TV scene, Eric has appeared in programmes such as Going for a Song, Going, Going, Gone, Noel’s House Party, Call My Bluff and 20th Century Roadshow.

In 2010, he presented 20 episodes on BBC’s Restoration Roadshow.

He is also known for the BBC shows Two’s Antiques Master, and the UK TV show Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.

Eric is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and an author whose writings revolve around Victoriana, Royal memorabilia, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and René Lalique.
