Bobby Cole and Laura Baugh are the parents of professional golfer Eric Cole.

Eric’s father Bobby Cole is a South African professional golfer. He won both the South Africa junior golf championship and the Vaal Amateur. In 1966, Cole won the British Amateur at Carnoustie, Scotland.
Since turning professional, Bobby won 13 tours including one PGA Tour, three Sunshine Tours, Other six South African wins, et al. Cole lives in Windermere, Florida where he teaches private lessons, corporate retreats, and plays ProAms and other golf events.

While his mother Laura Baugh is an LPGA pro who won the 1971 U.S. Women’s Amateur at age 16.

Following her LPGA Tour career, she became a member of the Legends Tour, formerly known as the Women’s Senior Golf Tour, was part of the process to make the U.S. Senior Women’s Open a reality and played in the 2018 inaugural event at the Chicago Golf Club.

In 2016, Laura moved to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida to serve as a golf instructor at Sawgrass Country Club. After four years at Sawgrass Country Club, she established her own golf school in St. Augustine.
Bobby Cole and Laura Baugh’s marriage ended in divorce.
The former couple shares seven children; Chelsea Cole, Haley Cole, Eric Cole, Robert Cole, Michael John Cole, Evita Beau Cole and Jamie Lee Cole.
