Cole turned professional in 2009. He won 56 times on the Minor League Golf Tour, including winning the tour championship in 2009 and 2021.

Cole joined the Korn Ferry Tour in 2016. With a T-3 at the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour Championship, he earned his PGA Tour card for the 2023 season.

In February, he finished tied with Chris Kirk atop the leaderboard of the Honda Classic 2023, before Kirk won with a birdie on the first playoff hole.

Cole’s runner-up finish earned him an amount of $915,600. He rose to 33rd in the FedEx Cup standings, and also earned a sponsor’s exemption into the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill this week.
