Enock Mwepu Wife: Who Is Matilda Mwepu?

Matilda Mwepu is the wife of former Zambian and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Enock Mwepu.

Despite being married to a well-known footballer, Matilda is yet to share details of her life witrh the public and as a result personal details such as her date of birth, age, height as well as professional details are not yet known.

Matilda and Enock dated for a while before tying the knot in 2020.

Matilda’s husband began his career in Lusaka, Zambia before moving to Red Bull Salzburg in 2017 and then to Brighton and Hove Albion in 2021.

In October 2022, Mwepu was forced to retire from football following the diagnosis of a hereditary heart condition.

The 24-year-old, who joined Brighton from RB Salzburg in 2021, has been informed that to continue playing competitive sport would put him at an extremely high risk of suffering a potentially fatal cardiac event.

“We are all absolutely devastated for Enock,” club chairman Tony Bloom told the club’s official website.

“He and his family have had a traumatic few weeks and while we are just thankful he has come through that period, he has seen such a promising career cut short at such a young age.

“As a club we will give him all the love, help and support we possibly can to make a full recovery, and then as he decides on the next steps in his life.”
