Ahern is an American writer, born to Harris and record producer Brian Ahern.

Ahern was born on September 9, 1979 in Burbank, California, USA.

Mika is Emmylou Harris’ daughter, born on March 15, 1970. Her father happens to be Tom Slocum, the first husband of Harris.

Emmylou Harris is a songwriter and musician who has dozens of albums and singles over in her name.

Harris was born on April 2, 1947, in Alabama, United States, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1992.

She has been a bandleader, a song interpreter, a back up vocalist, and has collaborated with various artistes such as Rodney Crowell, Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Lucinda Williams, Alison Krauss, Lee Ann Womack, Martina McBride, Vince Gill and Sheryl Crow.

Harris is the brain behind the sond “In Rodanthe” in the 2008 film Nights in Rodanthe.
