American screenwriter and producer, Emily Marshall has been reported dead. Her real net worth at the time of death is not known, however, it is believed that she was worth about $1 million at the time of death, considering that she had properties in and outside America.

She had a house in Mexico, located in San Miguel de Allende, where she died. She was 79 years old, and she died from lung cancer.

Born in Columbus on March 24, 1943, to a railway executive, Marshall moved to New York and became an NBC guide who sold tickets for the studio tour in the early ’60s to make a living.

She was the third wife of the Tonight Show bandleader, Doc Severinsen. They were married for almost four decades; from 1980 to 2013.

Marshall also worked for Director CY Howard on Lovers and Other Strangers, and the game show Supermarket Sweep with Producer David Susskind. She was a secretary for a McMillan & Wife producer at Universal before being hired on The Tonight Show in 1972 as de Cordova’s secretary/assistant.
