Despite avoiding a red card, UEFA confirmed to Sky Sports News on Friday that Martinez would be suspended for the first leg of the Europa Conference League semi-final against Olympiakos.

They cited Martinez’s accumulation of three yellow cards in their quarter-final clash against Lille as the reason for his suspension.
