Elvira Lind is a Danish screenwriter and film director based in New York City. She is best known as the wife of American actor, Oscar Isaac.

Elvira Lind was born October 28, 1981, in Copenhagen, Denmark. There is no readily available information regarding her parents, siblings and educational background.
Elvira Lind worked on her first documentary feature Songs for Alexis in 2014 which had premiered at Hot Docs in Toronto. The documentary won her the Reel Talent Award at the Copenhagen Documentary Festival.

Elvira Lind also directed a new feature documentary, Bobbi Jene in 2017 which won Best Documentary Feature, Best Cinematography in a Documentary Feature and Best Editing in a Documentary Feature.

Elvira Lind’s first fiction short film The Letter Room was nominated for Best Short Film at Tribeca Film Festival, Palm Springs International ShortFest and Telluride Film Festival.
Elvira Lind is presently married to Guatemalan-American actor Oscar Isaac whom she crossed paths with in 2012. The two got married in February 2017 and have two sons, with whom they live in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
