Cadeau’s journey to the forefront of basketball excellence began at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey.
As a freshman, he quickly asserted himself as the team’s starting point guard, showcasing an impressive all-around game.
Averaging 11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game, Cadeau not only contributed significantly to the team’s success but also led them to an impressive 7–2 record.

Despite a promising start, Cadeau faced a significant setback during his high school journey. A high ankle sprain suffered during a match against Gill St. Bernard’s School in December 2021 forced him to miss his entire sophomore season.
In pursuit of continued growth and development, Cadeau made a strategic move ahead of his junior year, transferring to Link Academy in Branson, Missouri.
Following high school, he committed to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
