Who Is Ellie Roebuck?
Ellie Roebuck is England’s goalkeeper currently representing England at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Roebuck also plays for Manchester City, and has previously played for Sheffield United.
Growing up as a young girl, Roebuck was a Sheffield United supporter,and had attended Connell Sixth Form College.

Roebuck made her debut for England in 2018, and in 2021, she was selected as one of the two goalkeepers in the Great Britain women’s Olympic football team for the 2020 Olympics.
In 2022, she represented England at the UEFA Women’s Euro Championship.
Roebuck began her football career at age 15, playing with Beighton Magpies in Sheffield, where she has earned a plaque.
In 2018, Roebuck made her professional debut with Manchester City, and went on to win both the FA Cup and League Cup. She was awarded the inaugural Barclays FA WSL Golden Glove, after making 16 league appearances.
