Ellie Downie Siblings: Meet her Sister Rebecca Downie

Rebecca Downie, also known as Becky Downie, is a British gymnast and the older sister of Ellie Downie.

She is a highly accomplished gymnast in her own right and has had a successful career representing Great Britain in international competitions.

Becky began her gymnastics journey at a young age and quickly showed promise as a gymnast.

By the age of 13, she was selected to join the Great Britain Junior Squad. This was a significant milestone for Becky, as it marked the start of her journey towards becoming an elite gymnast.

Becky Downie is a double European champion (2014 and 2016) and 2014 Commonwealth Games champion on the uneven bars as well as the 2019 World silver medallist.

Becky has been an inspiration to her younger sister Ellie and has played a significant role in her development as a gymnast.

The two sisters have also competed together in some events and have formed a strong bond, supporting each other’s gymnastics careers.
