Elle Macpherson Ex-Husband: Meet Jeffrey Soffer

Jeffery Soffer was married to Elle Macpherson. Soffer is the son of Florida real estate mogul and billionaire, Donald Soffer.

Having been in the industry for more than 25 years, Jeffery helped transform a range of properties throughout Florida, including the $1 billion expansion and renovation of the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach in 2008.

The property has long been a playground for the rich and famous and has had several huge movies filmed there, including 1964’s Goldfinger and 1992’s, The Bodyguard.

Jeffery survived a horrific helicopter crash in 2012 in the Bahamas where his best friend, Lance Valdez was killed. Lance’s widow sued Jeffery for $100 million, claiming Jeffery was illegally at the controls of the chopper that crashed.

She also accused Jeffery and his employees of conspiring to pressure her to sign a release exonerating Jeffery from any blame or liability. A judge threw out the wrongful death suit in August 2014.
