Elizabeth Taylor, the iconic actress, was blessed with a total of four children throughout her lifetime. Her children came from her various marriages and relationships, reflecting the different chapters of her personal life.

Elizabeth Taylor’s first child, Michael Howard Wilding, was born on January 6, 1953. He was the product of her marriage to British actor Michael Wilding, whom she was married to from 1952 to 1957. Michael Wilding followed in his parent’s footsteps and pursued a career in acting.

Taylor’s second child, Christopher Edward Wilding, was born on February 27, 1955. He was also the child of her marriage to Michael Wilding. Christopher Wilding, like his older brother, dabbled in acting but later pursued a career in business.

In her subsequent marriage to film producer Mike Todd, Elizabeth Taylor gave birth to her third child, Elizabeth Frances “Liza” Todd. Liza was born on August 6, 1957. Tragically, Mike Todd died in a plane crash when Elizabeth Taylor was pregnant with Liza. Liza Todd has maintained a relatively private life away from the spotlight.

Elizabeth Taylor’s fourth and final child, Maria Burton, was born on August 1, 1961. She was the daughter of Taylor’s marriage to actor Richard Burton, with whom she had a passionate and tumultuous relationship. Maria took her stepfather’s last name and is often known as Maria Burton.
