Elizabeth Hubbard Death: How Did Elizabeth Hubbard Die?

American actress, Elizabeth Hubbard known for her role in the popular soap opera, As The World Turns as Lucinda Walsh, has been reported dead. She died of cancer at 89 years old.  Her death was announced by her son, Jeremy via a Facebook post.

Her career as an actress started unplanned when she was made to fill in a gap on a show which lasted just 15 minutes for her role.

“I replaced some actress who had flipped her lid. They just needed somebody to round out the week, but then they kept me, and the rest is history,” she recalled during an interview.

She appeared in not less than 10 Broadway shows in her career. She was most notable for her roles on The Doctors as Dr. Althea, and As The World Turns as Lucinda Walsh.

“I’ve been so lucky playing Lucinda – a character who could do anything. She could lie, break the law, she didn’t have to be good, and she always had that checkbook ready. Always,” she once shared during an interview.
