Gray’s journey in the broadcasting world began with roles as a researcher on “Cross-Country Checkup” and as a substitute host on “This Country in the Morning” and “Morningside.”

Despite the challenges, Gray continued to thrive in the industry, hosting “Sunday Morning” for several years and producing compelling documentary reports for CBC Radio.

Gray later returned to “As It Happens” as an occasional guest host when different producers took the reins.

Her personal life was intertwined with the world of journalism, as she was married to journalist John Gray. Together, they shared a deep passion for storytelling and communication.

Gray’s legacy lives on in the hearts of those who enjoyed her broadcasts and admired her contributions to Canadian radio.
