Former UFC fighter Elias Theodorou was believed to be single at the time of death.

He was previously in a relationship with Max Altamuro, a retail manager living and working in Toronto.
Elias and Max competed on the third season of The Amazing Race Canada. They placed 12th in their current home city of Toronto and were the first team to be eliminated from the race.
Prior to his death, Theodorou served as a “ring boy” for the all-female MMA promotion Invicta Fighting Championships.

Theodorou, a Canadian mixed martial artist of Greek descent competed for the UFC in the Middleweight division where he was ranked 13th until his release, and won The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia.
Theodorou was also widely known for being an advocate for the use of medicinal marijuana in combat sports after he became the first fighter to receive a therapeutic use exemption for medical cannabis in 2020, which was granted by the British Columbia Athletic Commission.
Theodorou fought in 22 MMA bouts, boasting 19 wins and 3 losses, including an 8-3 run in the UFC.
The fighter died on Sunday sept. 11, 2022 from cancer.
