Actress and Socialite Efia Odo has said King Promise deserves to win the Artiste of the Year award for the upcoming TGMA awards on Saturday, June 1. In a tweet on May 28, Efia Odo said the event would be a rigged awards night if King Promise did not win the coveted prize on the night.

Debates about who deserves to win the award have started on social media with fans of the Bhim Nation rooting for Stonebwoy to pick up the Artiste of the Year award. In her tweet, Efia Odo acknowledged Stonebwoy’s hard work and efforts in the year under review but said King Promise has “put in too much work to go unnoticed” for this year’s award.

Efia Odo surprisingly cautioned fans of Shatta Wale not to contribute to the conversation. King Promise is facing off competition from artists such as Black Sherif, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy for the covetous Artiste of the Year award.
