Eddie Abramoski, who was one of Buffalo Bills’ original employees, passed away Friday, June 24 2022 at the age of 88. His cause of death has not been disclosed.

Eddie is survived by his wife Patricia Abramoski, their five children and several grandchildren
Abramoski was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and attended Purdue University on a football scholarship before having his career cut short by an injury following his first season on the varsity.

During the 37 years he served as the Bills’ head athletic trainer, Abe, as he was known by everyone in the organisation, was also one of the most revered figures in Bills history.
He taped the ankles of Bills players ranging from the team’s first draft pick in 1960, Penn State’s Richie Lucas, to Jim Kelly, the team’s finest quarterback.
Abramoski received the Buffalo Bills Alumni Association Appreciation Award twice, and he was elected into the National Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame in 1986, followed by the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.
