Who Is Eduardo Coudet?

Eduardo Coudet is a former Argentine professional footballer and current football manager of the Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro.

Born on September 12, 1974, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Coudet had played as a midfielder during his playing career.

He began his career at Platense in Argentina in 1992, and later went on to play for Rosario central, San Lorenzo, River Plate, Celta Vigo and Colón.

During his playing career, he won the Argentine Primera División with River Plate in 1999, and the Copa Mercosur in 2001.

Coudet ended his playing career at Club Atlético Colón in 2011, and transitioned into coaching. He started his managerial career in 2015 with Club Atlético Rosario Central, and led the club to the Copa Argentina final in 2018, where they finished as runners-up.

Coudet later coached Racing Club in Argentina, leading them to the league title in the 2018-2019 season.

In 2018, he joined the Brazilian club Internacional, and led them to the Campeonato Gaúcho title in 2020.

In 2022, Coudet began coaching Atlético Mineiro after signing a two-year deal. He went ahead to win the Campeonato Mineiro for the club in 2023.

On June 11, 2023, Coudet announced that he will be leaving Atletico Mineiro, “following a dispute with the board of the club over player transfers.”
