Edem Agbana Concerned About Bawumia’s Silence on Anti-Gay Bill

Edem Agbana, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu North, recently raised concerns regarding Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s silence on the anti-gay bill, emphasizing the need for clarity on this important issue.

In a candid interview on The Big Issue with Selorm Adonoo on Citi TV, Agbana highlighted the significance of addressing this matter beyond President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s ambiguous stance.

Agbana pointed out that NDC’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has taken a clear position on the bill, contrasting it with what he perceives as a lack of clarity from the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer.

He expressed unease over Dr. Bawumia’s notable silence on the issue, stressing the importance of both presidential candidates addressing such critical topics leading up to the election.
