After three seasons with the Giants, he joined the San Francisco 49ers and played for another one season.
In 1995, Ed got signed to the Denver Broncos and played for the team for eight seasons.
Ed retired from professional football in 2004, with a career record of 565 receptions, 7,422 receiving yards, and 55 touchdowns.
