However, it was his entrepreneurial spirit that ultimately led him to establish Cycling Safaris, a pioneering company specializing in organizing cycling holidays in Ireland and Europe. Throughout his career, Ryan has remained deeply rooted in his hometown of Dundrum.

In his role as Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, as well as Minister for Transport, Ryan remains dedicated to addressing pressing issues such as climate change, sustainability, and infrastructure development.
