Eamon Brennan Yakub is the son of Margaret Brennan and Yado Yakub. He was born in the early morning of September 11, 2018, in Washington DC.

His parents explained that they wanted a name that honors both his Irish and Syrian-American heritage hence they named him Eamon which literally means, Guardian in Irish and also means Righteous in Arabic.

After his birth, his mother also disclosed that they picked his name long ago when they were traveling through Ireland on a road trip.

Eamon Brennan Yakub is the son of Margaret Brennan and Yado Yakub. Margaret is an American journalist based in Washington DC, the current moderator for Face The Nation on CBS News. She was previously a White House correspondent for CBS and has covered Washington since 2012.

His father Yado Yakub is also a Syrian-American who serves as an attorney and a major in the US Marine Corps.
