Dwayne Haskins Dead: Sad Story Of How Dwayne Haskins’ Wife Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins Injured Him In A Hotel Room

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins has died at the age of 24 after being hit by a car in south Florida.

Prior to his death, Haskins was allegedly assaulted by his wife in a Las Vegas hotel room on July 3, 2021.

According to reports, Kalabrya Gondrezick-Haskins faced felony charges of battery and domestic violence resulting in bodily harm after allegedly punching Haskins in the mouth in their hotel room at The Cosmopolitan.

Haskins reportedly suffered injuries that were “substantial in nature,” including a split lip and missing tooth, as well as other oral injuries requiring dental work.

According to Pryor, it was reported Gondrezick-Haskins told police the couple were in Las Vegas to renew their vows, but they got into an argument that escalated.

Haskins reportedly told police that while he remembered getting into an argument, he didn’t remember getting hit in the mouth. He was subsequently taken to the hospital after police arrived at the scene.

Haskins was the No. 15 overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft by the Washington Football Team, but his tenure in Washington lasted less than two seasons.

He played college football at Ohio State, where he threw 50 touchdowns in 2018, his lone starting season, one of just seven quarterbacks to reach the milestone in a single NCAA season.

He won several Big Ten conference awards and was named a finalist for the Maxwell Award and Heisman Trophy.
