Dulce Maria Missing: Has Dulce Maria Alavez been found?

Dulce Maria Alavez was five years old when she went missing while visiting Bridgeton City Park with her mother and younger brother. Despite a thorough search and global attention given to the South Jersey case, investigators have been unable to locate the youngster two years later.

To commemorate the first anniversary of Dulce’s suspected kidnapping, Bridgeton police collaborated with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to develop an age progression portrait of Dulce, who would now be seven years old.

Cumberland County prosecutors and the NCMEC issued a second age progression photo on Thursday, September 16 2021 with a different forecast of Dulce’s appearance.

Authorities produced a sketch of a guy identified as a “person of interest” who was seen in the park with two children under the age of five in October 2019, although he was primarily viewed as a potential witness rather than a suspect in the girl’s kidnapping.

Since Dulce’s disappearance, her mother has been public about her grief and the family’s hope that the girl will be found. She has also addressed questions and suspicions regarding whether the family was complicit in the girl’s kidnapping.
