Drue Tranquill is a football player who plays as a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL).
Born on August 15, 1995, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S., Tranquill played high school football at Carroll High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he played as a running back and linebacker.

As a high school senior, he was a four-star recruit, and recorded 75 tackles as a linebacker. He also had “1,420 yards and 28 touchdowns on 114 carries on the ground as a running back.”

Tranquill proceeded to Notre Dame to play college football, and as a freshman, he appeared in 11 games with three starts and recorded 33 tackles.” His time at Notre Dame saw him win the Wuerffel Trophy.
In 2019, Tranquill was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers as 130th overall pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft, and was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
In 2023, Tranquill began playing with the Kansas City Chiefs. His current NFL statistics shows a record of 300 total tackles, 6.5 sacks, and 6 pass deflections.
